Delete your Grocery Folks account

Effective October 28, 2026

You can delete your Grocery Folks account and its personal information at any time.

In the app

Open Grocery Folks and tap your profile.
Choose your name to open Your profile.
Tap Delete account and confirm with your password.

If you own a family, the app will ask you to transfer ownership to another member or delete the family first.

Without the app

Email hello@groceryfolks.com from the email address on your account with the subject “Delete my account.” We’ll confirm with that address and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What is deleted

Your login, email address, and display name.
Your family memberships, notification settings, and registered phones.

Items, messages, and photos you shared with a family stay with that family so their list stays intact, but they are shown as from “Deleted member.” Diagnostic records are removed on our providers’ normal schedule, within 90 days.
